- Viking Festival at Flag Fen Archaeology Park
Viking Festival, Flag Fen Archaeology Park, Peterborough.
The excellent Flag Fen Archaeology Park hosts a Viking Festival with an authentic Viking encampment.
Activities and displays include demonstrations of Viking weapons and military skills, a skirmish, traditional Viking woodworking and metalworking, food and cooking, a Viking burial, and weaving, all culminating in an exciting re-enactment of the Battle of the Holme (AD 902).
