Scooters everywhere, Suzhou Night Market area street.
Images from one position on a street junction, from one hour only. Organised chaos suggests that there was an element of structure; no, it was just chaotic!
The photographs were mainly of vehicles and pedestrians using the cycle lane established next to the main carriageway. Traffic was predominantly coming towards me, with some joining from an alleyway to the left, more joining from the main road to my right, and traffic darting across right in front of me from the cycle lane into the main road.
Add into the mix; most of the traffic was electric; e-bikes and electric scooters / mopeds, with some conventional pedal cycles too, but all (essentially) silent. I was nearly collided with on (probably) ten occasions within the one hour I was there. And then add in the many pedestrians wandering down the cycle route, two-abreast, in both directions. How on earth there no collisions with pedestrians I will never know.
Technical notes. All shots handheld, ambient light, no stabilisation, other than resting on a chest rig. Mostly f2.8 at a variety of shutter speeds and ISO settings. My favourite street photography / walkabout setup of my Nikon D6 with Nikon 24-70 f2.8.
